What Happens If You Pay Part of Your Welile Repayment

Your money counts. It goes straight against your plan and your balance drops by what you paid. The part you did not pay stays due and carries forward.

What counts as a partial payment​

Any amount smaller than what is expected for the day. There is no minimum — paying something is always better than paying nothing.

What happens to the unpaid part​

It remains outstanding on that day and rolls into what you owe. It is not a new charge and no penalty is added — it is simply the rest of what was already due.

Will my payment disappear?​

No. Every payment recorded against your plan reduces your balance, however small.

Welile sends you a message after a partial payment confirming what was received, what the day's amount was, and that the remainder carries forward. Keep it.

Example​

Your daily repayment is UGX 9,200.

You pay UGX 6,000.

Your balance falls by UGX 6,000. UGX 3,200 of that day remains unpaid and carries forward.

If tomorrow you pay UGX 12,400, that clears yesterday's outstanding UGX 3,200 first and then tomorrow's UGX 9,200 — and you are completely level again.

What will I need to pay next?​

Enough to cover what carried forward plus the next amount falling due. Your money always fills the oldest open day first, so you work forward in order.
