Completing Your Welile Rent Plan
Your plan is complete when your balance reaches zero — when everything you agreed to repay has been received.
Two ways to get there
By finishing the schedule. You pay your instalments until the last day and the balance clears.
By paying the rest early. Pay your remaining balance at any point and the plan is done.
If you are settling early, use the balance shown on your plan rather than your daily figure — the two are rarely the same at the end. You cannot pay more than the balance, so there is no risk of overpaying.
What to check when you finish
- Your balance reads zero on your plan, or your agent confirms it.
- You have your last payment message. Keep your messages until you are sure the plan is closed.
- Your landlord is settled for the period the plan covered — worth a conversation with them, since that is what the plan was for.
What if a small amount is left?
A plan is complete only when the balance is zero. If a small amount remains after your final payment, it is still due — pay it and the plan closes.
If you believe you have paid everything and your plan still shows a balance, do not simply pay again. Contact support with your recent payment messages so it can be traced. See a payment has not arrived.
What happens to your record
A completed plan is a record of you repaying in full, and that is the point of it. Paying consistently increases how much rent Welile can support you with next time, and you are told when that limit grows.
What next
You can apply for another Rent Plan for your next rent period. It is a new plan, priced on its own and reviewed again — see renewing your plan.
There is no obligation to take another one. A completed plan simply stands as a good record.
