What Welile Partners Do

A partner's job is short: decide how much to contribute, decide how it is deployed, decide how returns are handled, and keep an eye on the portfolio. Everything operational is Welile's.

What you do

  1. Complete onboarding and accept the partnership agreement. See become a partner.
  2. Choose how your money is deployed — pick a house yourself, or let Welile allocate it. See support modes.
  3. Choose how returns are handled — paid out monthly, or left to compound. See return methods.
  4. Contribute, using the payment route Welile gives you. See how to support a tenant.
  5. Track your portfolio — what is earned, what is paid, when the term matures. See your portfolio.
  6. Add more if you want to, with a top-up.
  7. Ask for money out when you are eligible — returns or principal.

What Welile does

  • Finds and verifies tenants and landlords — identity checks, phone verification with both sides, and a recorded property location.
  • Reviews and approves rent plans before any money moves.
  • Pays the landlord and issues the receipt.
  • Collects the tenant's repayments, daily or weekly, through its agents and payment channels.
  • Works out and pays your returns according to your portfolio's method.
  • Keeps the records your portfolio and statements are built from.

You can see the checks Welile runs on the tenant side in following a Rent Request.

What is not in your hands

Worth being plain about, because it is the part partners most often expect otherwise:

  • You do not choose which tenant gets a plan. Eligibility is Welile's decision.
  • You do not collect from tenants, and you should never be asked to.
  • You do not set the tenant's rate or terms.
  • You do not chase arrears. If a tenant falls behind, Welile handles it.
