How Much You Need to Support a Tenant
The minimum contribution is UGX 50,000. The onboarding form will not accept less.
The minimum
UGX 50,000 to start. That is a platform minimum rather than a per-house figure, and it applies when you register.
What a particular house needs
If you are choosing houses yourself, each one shows the amount its rent needs before you commit to it. That figure comes from the actual rent, so it varies from house to house.
You are not obliged to match any single house exactly — the partner tools show you the amounts and you deploy from your portfolio. See support modes.
Is there a maximum?
No product-level maximum is set on what you may contribute. Partner portfolios on the platform range from very small amounts to very large ones.
Two practical limits still apply:
- Your payment channel. Mobile money and bank transfers have their own daily and per-transaction limits, which have nothing to do with Welile.
- Verification. A large contribution may reasonably attract checks before it is confirmed.
If you are planning a large contribution, speak to Welile first. Agreeing the route beforehand avoids a payment sitting unmatched while somebody works out where it came from.
Supporting more than one tenant
Yes. Your portfolio can be deployed across more than one house or rent plan, and you can top up to add more.
