Is it the same as being a tenant partner? No, and the two are not similar. Tenant partnership pays an agreed monthly return over a term. The Angel Pool has no monthly return, no term, and no dividends expected for at least four years. See the difference.
Does supporting tenants make me a shareholder? No. They are separate arrangements with separate money.
How much is one share? The configured price is UGX 20,000 per unit, with 25,000 units in the pool. Always check the price shown in the current offer — see share price.
Does the price change? Welile manages the price, the number of units and the total, so treat the figures as current rather than permanent. Use what you are shown when you contribute.
What do I actually hold? A proportional share of the pool. The agreement states that participants do not hold direct shares and are part of a pooled structure, even though the app expresses participation in units called shares. Ask Welile to confirm in writing what you would hold.
Do participants receive dividends? Not for now. The agreement says the company is in a reinvestment phase and that no dividends are expected for a minimum of four years.
Do I get voting rights or a board seat? No. The agreement states non-voting equity, no board representation, no management control and no governance rights. It calls it a passive investment structure.
Is my money safe? The agreement's own words: "This is a high-risk, long-term investment with no guaranteed returns." There is no promise you will get your contribution back.
Can I sell or transfer my participation? Not documented. Ask Welile in writing before contributing, and do not assume you can exit.
Do I get a certificate? Not documented. Ask what evidence of ownership you will receive, and when.
Where do I see my participation? Your allocation is recorded against you, showing your share of the pool and the corresponding share of company ownership. Ask Welile where to view it if you cannot find it.
How many units can I buy? The pool is capped, so availability is finite. Ask what is still available.
What is Welile Technologies Inc? The agreement notes participation may be converted into Welile Technologies Inc as part of a future global restructuring. It is a stated possibility with no timing given — not a commitment.
