What Your Welile Partner Portfolio Shows
Your portfolio is the record of one contribution and everything that has happened to it. If you have contributed more than once you may have more than one.
It is the thing to check before asking anybody a question about your money.
The figures on it
Your contribution. The amount you put in. With compounding this grows as returns are added.
Your portfolio code. A short reference for that portfolio. Quote it when you contact support — it saves a long conversation.
The monthly return rate. The rate agreed for this portfolio.
The term. How many months the portfolio runs for.
The maturity date. When the term ends. This is the date that matters for getting your money back.
Your return method. Monthly payout, or compounding. See return methods.
Your payout day. The day of the month your return falls due, and the date of the next one.
Total earned so far. What has accumulated across the term to date.
Your payout destination. The bank account or mobile money number your returns are routed to.
What else appears
What your money is behind — the houses or rent plans it has been deployed to, depending on your support mode.
Your activity — contributions, top-ups, returns and any money paid out.
Reading it sensibly
Two distinctions are worth holding on to:
- Earned is not the same as paid. A return can be earned and recorded before it has reached your account.
- Your contribution is not the same as your returns. Taking returns out is withdrawing returns; getting your contribution back is a principal request. They are different things with different rules.
If a figure looks wrong
Check your portfolio's own rate, term and method first — portfolios differ, and a figure that surprises you is often correct for a different portfolio than the one you had in mind.
If it still does not add up, contact support with your portfolio code and the figure you are querying.
