How to Become a Welile Partner

You register on the Welile partner onboarding page. It takes one sitting if you have your payout details and your next of kin to hand.

Before you start​

See what you need — in short, your own details, the account your returns should be paid to, and a next of kin.

Decide roughly how much you want to contribute. The minimum is UGX 50,000.

The form, step by step​

1. Your details and the role​

You give your name and contact details, and confirm you understand the role — that you are a capital facilitator rather than a lender, and that Welile manages the tenants, the collections and the payouts.

Read that confirmation rather than ticking past it. It is the clearest single statement of what you are agreeing to.

2. How you want to contribute​

Choose between taking a monthly return, or letting your returns compound. The page shows an illustration of how each behaves as you enter an amount.

Enter the amount you intend to contribute — at least UGX 50,000.

3. Your payout and next-of-kin details​

Where your money should go, and who to contact if you cannot be reached:

  • A bank account — the bank, account name and account number; or
  • Mobile money — the network and the number.
  • Your next of kin — their name and a contact for them.

These details complete your partnership agreement and route your payouts, so check them carefully. A wrong account number is the commonest cause of a delayed payout.

4. Review and submit​

Check everything, then submit.

What happens after you submit​

Welile reviews your onboarding and sets up your partner account and portfolio. Your contribution is confirmed against your portfolio once it has been received and verified.

What to do next: watch for Welile's messages on the contact details you gave, and keep the confirmation of any payment you make. If you do not hear anything within a few days, contact support rather than submitting a second application.

Welile sends messages during onboarding, but the specific sequence has not been confirmed for publication. Ask support what to expect if you are unsure whether you have missed something.

Keeping it safe​

There is no fee to become a partner, and nobody should ask you for one. Never send your contribution to a personal account — use only the route Welile gives you, and confirm it appears against your portfolio.
