What You Need to Become a Welile Proxy Agent

Short list. The application asks for three things and your agreement.

What you need before you start​

Your full name as it appears on your National ID. Not a shortened version, not a nickname.

Your phone number. An active line you keep — it becomes how Welile reaches you.

Your National ID number (NIN). The fourteen characters on the card. Have the card in front of you and copy it exactly.

A Welile account. You sign in or create one as part of joining.

What you accept​

The proxy agent agreement. Read it. It is the terms of the role, and it is presented fresh so you are reading the current version.

What matters later, not at application​

These are not asked for when you join, but they decide whether you can be paid — so it is worth sorting them out early rather than on the day you first want to withdraw:

  • A verified National ID on your account. See National ID verification.
  • A payout number verified in your own legal name.
  • An account in good standing.

What is not asked for​

No email address, no district, no business details and no documents to upload are required by the application itself.

If somebody asks you for more than the three details above plus the agreement, check with support before providing it.
