They support the connection between the Welile platform and people such as tenants, landlords, Sub-agents, and partners.

An agent's exact responsibilities depend on their assigned role.

Why agents matter

Welile is not only a digital platform.

Many activities happen within physical communities.

For example:

• a tenant may need help registering;
• a landlord may need help connecting a property;
• a rent request may need to be recorded;
• a Sub-agent may need to be onboarded;
• rent may need to be followed up or collected;
• a partner may need support;
• a user may need help understanding how Welile works.

Agents help make these processes practical.

Main agent types

• Field Agents — rental operations in the field.
• Proxy Agents — approved partnership and sales activities.
• Sub-agents — assigned local activities under an Agent.
